The next Annual General Meeting of the Hobart Hebrew Congregation has been scheduled for Sunday 27 August, starting at 10am in the synagogue.
All financial members of the congregation are encouraged to attend and vote at the AGM. If you’re eligible to attend but won’t be in Hobart on the day, you can take part by phoning in for the price of a local call.
The main business of the AGM is to elect the seven-person Board of Management of the congregation, including the President and other office-holders.
Other agenda items include the President’s and Treasurer’s Reports, and setting the level of membership fees in advance for the 2018-19 financial year.
The AGM is the chance for financial members to find out more about the position of the shul, and to have a voice in the running of the congregation.
More details, including the agenda and numbers for dialling in remotely, will be posted to members closer to the date of the AGM.
