Biography

Dr. Eveline Cohen was the daughter of Samuel Benjamin. Dr. Cohen served as Medical Officer for military hospitals for the British army in the first World War. Her obituary in The Australian Jewish Chronicle stated that she was one of the first Jewish women to obtain a medical degree and practice in the U.K.
