Sunday 11th February 1844General Meeting convened by the President. Louis Nathan Esqre President in the Chair
Proposed by Mr Moses Lazarus seconded by Mr S Levy that Passover Cakes be made in Hobart Town for the ensuring Passover – Carried
Proposed by Mr David Moses seconded by Mr Saml Moses that as Mr H Nathan has offered to make the Cakes required he be assisted in doing so from the funds of the Society, the money so advanced to be only as a loan to be refunded to the Society. Carried
Proposed by Mr David Moses seconded by Mr Saml Moses that the application of Lewis Abrahams for pecuniary assistance be entertained -- Carried
Proposed by Mr Saml Moses seconded by Mr Moses Newton that Lewis Abrahams receive Twenty Pounds from the funds of the Society toward defraying the expense of his passage to England. Carried
