BALANCE SHEET
Balance sheet submitted by Treasurer as attached.  However, on reading the balance sheet it has to be born in mind that it does not give a true picture, as it covers a period of one year less 3 weeks, and additional expenses will be incurred during these 3 weeks.  on the other hand, there were also some late payments received by the Treasurer which could not be included amongst the receipts, the adoption of Balance sheet was moved by Mr. H. Jacob, seconded by Mr. Seidel.

Vice Pres. Mr. C. Epstein
Treasurer. Mr. F. Newman

It is to be put on record that the election for President resulted in a tie between Mr. Jacob and Mr. C. General Business: Membership contributions were fixed at £5/5/- with the proviso that in case of hardship the Treasurer can accept lower amounts and the person concerned is still regarded as financial member.  It was also suggested that contributions could be paid in instalments.
On the question of raising the membership to £5-5-0 a vote was taken and the raise was carried by a clear majority.
