Tuesday 16th January 1844

The President, Secretary and two other Gentlemen only having attended the meeting convened by the President for the purpose of taking the letter of Lewis Abrahams into consideration, and it appearing to the President that the non-attendance of members indicated a disinclination to take the same into consideration as notified, he directed that no further notice be taken at present of the application.
